My family and friends threw me a wonderful shower down here in San Diego last Sunday. It was so fun to celebrate with all of the ladies - Of course, they all spoiled me again! Nugget officially has everything he may need this first year!

And an extra bonus was a fun filled weekend visit from Erin who was down fromYreka, Devon from Seattle and Meggan out from Buffalo!

I'm still gathering pictures from friends, here are some I took on my own camera. I will post more soon!

Easter 2011 - 9 months!!

Happy Easter! Today is exactly one month from my due date - crazy to think he will be here soo soon!

Trisha and I started our Easter with a long (slow) walk, enjoyed breakfast at Good Time Charlies and then got a few shots of my growing belly with our new camera.
As you can see, I have grown quite a bit since my last post. Nug is measuring slightly bigger than your average baby at 36 weeks! I blame Heav!!

Nugs Nursery is complete!!

Our personal decorator, Audra, drove down Tuesday to put the nursery together! And it turned out AMAZING! Look how cute our nursery and bathroom looks!!
Mark and Audra made the side shelves, Audra made all those adorable blocks, she painted all those stripes and the monogram board. (You will see only the middle and last name initial as we have not picked out a first yet.)

Audra painted the white stripes and polka dots on our blue walls - sooo cute!

Bay Area Baby Shower!

My amazing family and friends threw Nug and I a wonderful baby shower this past weekend. It included 35 of my closest friends and family members, a huge yummy lunch, chocolate fountains, and Bellini champagne cocktails (punch for the non preggers). Besides the rain, it was a blast. Thank you to everyone who planned the event - mom, Trisha, Nancy, Krissy! And to everyone who made or brought something special for the shower.
An extra thanks to the girls that drove a long way in bad weather to be there - My aunt and cousin from Redding, Marisa from Chico, Gena from Reno, Courtney from Redding!!
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR MAKING MY SHOWER SO SPECIAL! NUG AND I ARE SOOO SPOILED!!
My cousin Laura (newly engaged!!) and Melissa, my cousin Scott's wife
Julie Moylan and Kate Rudick!
My pregger partner in crime! Less than 4 weeks apart!
The Grandma's!
Trish and Mom - their hands look so small on that stomach!
One of the shower games was to pair off, one person became the MOM, the other the BABY. The mom had to feed an entire jar of baby food to the baby, using a tiny spoon, as fast as they could. The first one done would take the prize! VERY entertaining!

Shannon and Maris had the shovel-in approach.

Nancy was way more polite! Needless to say they did not win.
My mom seems to not be a fan of banana goo.
HOW SPOILED ARE WE?? Everyone was so generous, we got some great gifts!!
The baby bump...also seen in the New Years post but we got to stand closer that day!
Darren teasing me with whiskey!
Yes that is a shot of whiskey in my shirt...if you know Uncle Rick, you are not surprised by this!

Week 28 Belly

I know, I am horrible at taking my own picture. Enjoy these self portraits at week 28.
My goal from now on will be to take better pictures - with my head showing and possibly not wearing gym clothes!

28 weeks down, 12 more to go!!

First and second trimester are complete, I am officially in my last trimester. I am amazed at how fast the last 3 months went. Baby N is doing great, I had an ultrasound at week 28 which showed that the placenta moved away from my cervix, so much that I no longer need to worry about placenta previa. As long as no other issues pop up, I will not need a c-section. He is in a good position, head down so I get his feet kicking high up in my belly and lovely punches on my bladder. The tech also did some measurements to get his weight, as of Feb 28th they believe he is 2 pounds 9 ounces.

Because this ultrasound was to check on the previa, I only got one picture. Its a cute side profile though.
