Honeymoon - Grand Cayman

Heavy and I took off for our honeymoon the day after the wedding. We took a red eye out of SFO and arrived in Grand Cayman around noon on Tuesday. The island is beautiful, white beaches and the calmest water. The island is small enough you could drive around it in a few hours. And the people are soo friendly. I would recommend visiting the Cayman islands at some point in your life!
We tried out lots of different beaches, found some great restaurants and drank at some fun bars. We enjoyed laying out, walking up the beach, drinking very expensive Bud Light, walking around the town when the cruise ships were in, took a sunset cruise, kayaked, attempted to hike AND even made it to the gym 4-5 times.
It was an amazing 10 days, we had a great honeymoon. The beach along our hotel, considered 7 Mile Beach.
The first bar we found, across from out hotel. It was a fun outside bar that had a fun staff and tons of chickens that watch you eat.
Enjoying the sunset with a tall glass of vino on the beach in front of the Marriott.
The turtles that lived outside of our room, some were as small as a lemon! So cute.
Dinner at Hammerheads, an outdoor bar and restaurant.
We rented a car to check out the island. The tiniest car ever. The problem was they drive Europe style, wrong side of the car and road. So glad Heavy had some experience with this. I would not have been able to drive!
Heavy and his tiny car!

The Caybrew Brewery. Pretty much the crappiest beer ever, we still felt the need to go their tasting room!
The random surfer lizard
We drove around and found this lovely harbor restaurant, the had some yummy mojitos!
The fish that hung out next to the bar...this guy was huge.

Beergarita - the hardest and slowest drink I have ever taken down!
Thursday night Niners game - surprisingly a decent crowd came out to watch this game. Niners won!
The start of Pirates Week. Fireworks from our outdoor table at Casanova's. Our table was a few feet away from the ocean.
After an amazing dinner and 2 bottles of wine! One of our favorite dinners for sure!
The friendly chickens, I might have slipped her a fry!
The lizard behind my lounge chair.
Lunch at our favorite bar. We spent most of our afternoons at this place, just about 200 yards from our hotel.

Chargers v Eagles - Chargers won! We spent a lot of time that Sunday is this amazing sports bar. Couple of buckets of beer and great food!
Our sunset cruise on the catamaran.

The cruise was so much fun - my camera died but I got this shot before the sunset.
Chick drink in Georgetown, we were watching the cruise ships leave port.

Dinner at The Wharf - 2 bottles of champagne and our best meal of the trip.
We had to stop in the Irish bar, enjoyed a couple of Guinesses!

We rented the car again and went out to Rum Point, Heavy snorkeled a bit. The water was so clear.

I found another lizard!

Another day of Bud Lights, reading and sun. Loved it!

Our last dinner of the trip.
