Joel and Gena Rasmus!!!

Joel and Gena got married on the top deck of the Tahoe Queen. It was one of the most prettiest places to get married - the lake was like glass, no wind with the sun just about to set. Here are a bunch of pictures from the Rasmus's big day! Congrats again you two!!

Dana flew in from Hawaii for the weekend - so fun seeing her!
Coop!
Half the group decided bourbon should be our next cocktail...not smart. This led to c-walking!!
Of course someone had to remove their shirt during the wedding!

Festivities before the Rasmus's big day!

After visiting with Krissy, Jose and JJ, I drove up to Lake Tahoe to hang out with my family before Joel and Gena's wedding Saturday night. We enjoyed walking the lake, seeing my grandparents and of course throwing a few dollars on my favorite Roulette numbers!

The rest of our friends arrived Friday for all the festivities. We enjoyed pizza and beer after the rehearsal, then met up for dancing and some gambling at Harrah's later that night! Here are a few pics..

Meeting my Godson JJ

This past week I drove up to the bay a few days early to visit with family and friends. I spent two days with the Banuelos Family in Sacramento and finally got to meet Krissy and Jose's little baby boy, and my Godson Julian. He is an amazing adorable happy little baby (minus the occasional diaper explosion that I'm sure a few of you saw on facebook! ha) We had a fun few days - started with a yummy BBQ with Jose's family, enjoyed some tv time, lots of soccer which included a very early US soccer game, and we had a fun lunch with a few friends from Dublin High near Old Town Sac. It was awesome to catch up with you girls!!

Here are a few pictures of little JJ.

Weekend Adventures

This past weekend we headed up to Big Bear to camp for the night with our friends Heather and Sam. On the way up, we took a detour to El Monte to check out a Lexus IS 350 that Heavy has had his eye on. We test drove it and loved it so Daisy, Heav and I bought a car Saturday. Here is a picture of the car while we were doing a final inspection.
After finishing all the paperwork, I drove the Xterra and Heavy drove the Lexus up to Big Bear. We spent the afternoon drinking, eating and hanging out around the campfire. Daisy was in heaven, we let her roam off leash the entire time with her friend Macie. She also got to swim in the lake Sunday morning, the lake was freezing but she didn't seem to mind.

Audra sent me this picture of my parents pups sunbathing with her last weekend. How cute is this picture??

Gena's Bachelorette!

Our friends Gena and Joel are getting married at the end of this month so we jetted off to Vegas to help Gena celebrate last weekend! Her bachelorette party was held at their Vegas home which is just minutes from the strip. 12 girls moved in for the weekend - we laid out, swam, and enjoyed a cocktail or two that first afternoon. Then after showering and getting ready, Charla surprised us with a limobus ride to The Palms where we had dinner and did some gambling before heading into Rain. We had our own table, bottle service and had a great time dancing and singing the night away.

End of the night...

Saturday we headed over to Moorea, the pool party at Mandalay Bay. It was such a fun day - good music, pooltime and lots of cocktails! We got some rest that evening and then headed out for a couple more hours of dancing!
It was such a great weekend - congrats again Gena! See you in a few weeks for your big day!

One Last Hurrah!

Our good friends Devon and Dave have officially moved from San Diego to Seattle. We were sad to see them go but this is a wonderful opportunity for them and we wish them the best! We spent a weekend in Seattle with them a few months ago and had a great time - we are already looking forward to a few more trips up that way!
Devon stayed with us her last few weeks in SD which was a blast! Dev was more than just a roomie, she was our personal chef and shopper, my running and walking buddy, Daisy's new best friend and at least once a week, she was a bad influence! Thanks Dev for everything!
Here are a few pictures from their final weekend together down here in San Diego. The day started with drinks at Rocky's, Sneak Joint, Firehouse and Tap Room and ended with a pretty serious wine tasting session back at our house. We found ourselves drinking bottomless mimosas the following morning to help ease the pain.
